Semtěš
The village of Semtěš lies at the foot of the Iron Mountains. The history of its settlement dates back to the
Neolithic period. Traces of an ancient fortified settlement from the Iron Age are alsopreserved. The village has one of
the largest Evangelical churches in the country, and you can visit the tower (a so-called bastion) in the very middle
of the village which is all that remains of anearlier fortress and is itself now also used as a lookout tower.
