Modrý kříž Cinema

The building of the Kutná Hora Cinema Modrý kříž (Blue Cross) represents a valuable sample of Cubist-Expressionist architectural style in the town. The cinema was designed by architects Tomáš Pražák and Pavel Moravec in 1919, the construction was completed in 1921. The building was reconstructed several times in the course of the 20th century. The building is only opened during film shows. 

This cinema is one of the most modern cinemas meeting the DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) standard as far as audio, technical aspects, visual and interior equipment is concerned. It is equipped with state-of-the-art Dolby Digital audio equipment as well as 3D technology, which lets you see floating objects right in front of you. The Modrý kříž Cinema seats 190 in comfortable, luxurious seats on the ground floor, with 116 people being able to be comfortably seated on the balcony.

Building with wheelchair access – on the ground floor, with wheelchair accessible toilets, and reserved parking for holders of ZTP (severe health disability) cards in front of the cinema.
